Yesterday was the final LARA lab meeting of this term. We were lucky to have a guest speaker in. Dr Danielle Colenbrander, who is a postdoc at the University of Bristol, gave a talk titled ‘A randomised controlled trial of morphological intervention for children with reading and spelling difficulties’. Danielle described a really exciting project, looking at interventions for children who are struggling with reading and spelling. This has great potential implications for education, and we can’t wait to hear the final results next year!
Emma Sullivan, who is currently doing her Masters at the University of Oxford, also joined us for the lab meeting. It was lovely to meet her and we wish her all the best for her future studies.
